Existence is balancing act Denise! Think you might be converting me a little! It’s quite incredible where our imagination takes us sometimes! Today I have done a line and wash sketch. Enjoyed doing it so might do some more

Thanks guys , I will definitely do more line and wash ! In the meantime I have been working on a charcoal portrait  of my son, not  quite finished though

It’s coming together nicely Gillian . I’m looking at drawing and painting some more animals and thought of doing a stampede not sure which animals yet .  I like to sketch the different subjects I eventually paint to get the feel before commenting to painting started of with buffalo, quite amazing animals. That's a great sketch Paul. I've refined my abstract a bit more and I'm about to start painting it. Think I'm ok with this now. Not sure what to make of it but I've got the vision down I wanted.

I don't usually comment on others work but I'm impelled to do so here - that is looking superb - composition, balance etc - a bit of background colour to link it together maybe - and you don't have to make anything of it - that's the job of the viewer - never give any clues. That's why I give mine a number (just popped a couple in the gallery) or invent a word as the title - my latest I've called Colympany. There's a great site for nonesense words:  https://www.soybomb.com/tricks/words
