Lots of details in your sketch Bari and very nicely done. Two lovely portraits Denise I’m sure you will do a brilliant painting, hood you feel better soon. I’m hoping to do some work with the Ancient Tree Forum later in the year and thought I had better get some practice at sketch old trees a subject matter that I do like a lot. Wanted to look at the shapes that some of theses old trees developed over the years.

It’s a pig of a day, wet ,grey and miserable so I have been looking through some old stuff. A while ago a few of us did collaborative sketch books with themes.
This sketch book the theme was “sitting in a cafe “ . So these are two sketches I did for it
One The Wedding Breakfast and the other the Funeral Tea. Both done in A5 sketch book. Just realised they all look miserable.

Nice sketch Bari with your trade mark bricks. Two very nice sketch’s Sylvia both of life events, one avoidable the other is guaranteed. Isn’t it strange how somethings are a taboo in art etc , certainly things that people avoid doing .
A horse sketch for the girls book , taken from a photo of a old horse at Speen home for old horses.
The bit of colour was picked up from the blending stick , must remember to clean it .

From a photo I took a few years ago (some small liberties taken with geography).
