Lots of details in your sketch Bari and very nicely done. Two lovely portraits Denise I’m sure you will do a brilliant painting, hood you feel better soon. I’m hoping to do some work with the Ancient Tree Forum later in the year and thought I had better get some practice at sketch old trees  a subject matter that I do like a lot.  Wanted to look at the shapes that some of theses old trees developed over the years.  tres
Wow there is a tree and a half Paul.  A beauty.   Two happy sketches Denise… May I make an observation ?  Well I will anyhow.   Look at the size of the girls hands and feet.  Compare them with the size of her head ,I think they could go up a size or two. Sam agrees .

Same here.  I hope my latest fits the bill... Porthgain Harbour, Pembrokeshire. From a photo I took a few years ago (some small liberties taken with geography).
Very nice too, it’s artistic license not liberties Colin.
Nice one Colin. Have been working on another harbour just wondering do I colour the 3 buoys orange or just shade them
It’s a pig of a day, wet ,grey and miserable so I have been looking through some old stuff.  A while ago a few of us did collaborative sketch books with themes.   This sketch book the theme was “sitting in a cafe “ .  So these are two sketches I did for it One The Wedding Breakfast  and the other the Funeral Tea. Both done in A5 sketch book.  Just realised they all look miserable.

I remember these Sylvia. I love allthe little imaginative details.
Ooops I should have checked I hadn’t put them on before…sorry . Maybe I should use the Wedding  one for Valentine’s Day.

They are great sketches Sylvia, full of so much character.
They were fun to do Denise.   🌻
Nice sketch Bari with your trade mark bricks. Two very nice sketch’s Sylvia both of life events, one avoidable the other is guaranteed. Isn’t it strange how somethings are a taboo in art etc , certainly things that people avoid doing . A horse sketch for the girls book , taken from a photo of a old horse at Speen home for old horses.  The bit of colour was picked up from the blending stick , must remember to clean it .
