Great mixture of sketches, too far behind to comment individually. Linda, I was interested in your comments about painting chestnut, haven’t had to do one yet but I’ve locked that away in my mind for the future. I haven’t done much last few days but here are hastily done lockdown valentines cards, one more hasty than the other! However, there were chocolates so all is forgiven🤣
Nice card Katy. Another from my sketch pad. No story behind sketch  Linda , just how the page developed I will leave the figures and story’s to the expert Lew Cooper a far  greater artist than I ever could be . He is the  inspiration leading to me draw figures. Thank Lew.

Really enjoying your figures at work Paul, good idea to have a theme to help with inspiration.
I’m liking your figure sketches Dixie, and Katy’s Valentine, still waiting for mine!! Our challenge for art class this Thursday is ‘Hope’ - interpret as you like, but I thought maybe spring flowers so I’ve had a practice at some in bud.
Oh dear Tessa, still no card!  Tony was mortified that he hadn’t got me one so I handed him the coloured pens and a sheet of paper and got a lovely little card with my tea and choccies😊❤️ Love the spring buds, you should make that a painting!
Very resourceful, Katy. That's some brush, Paul, it would make quick work of those shoes. Tessa, 'hope' those flowers look fantastic with some colour, too. Been painting for last couple of days so no sketch from me. Uploaded to the gallery.
Thanks Katy and Ron. Just saw your painting on the gallery Ron, lovely work, and looks a great source of inspiration for you. Glad you’re settling into painting again after the last few months.
Another from the sketch’s of people at work. This is one I want to do as a painting at some point , beating copper pans out.
Another well done sketch. You seem to have nailed the foreshortened arm with the hammer. I think the colours in a painting would look great with the copper.
Yes I’m boring yet another figure sorry it getting monotonous .
These are great figures Paul, I’m not bored! I need something to grab my attention, lacking in motivation at the moment.
Like Katy I’m lacking in motivation generally.  I look at the forum and gallery most days and love to see all of your work.  Paul I really like your figure work and they’re definitely not boring.
