Clever sketch Tessa, the finished painting is so subtle but you get straight to the meaning (avoiding the point pun)
So, it's a blacksmith in Denise's sketch. I had a hunch it was Ned Kelly (been to blacksmith). All those superheroes in one picture! Well, Denise, it obviously pays to have a sense of humour on this forum. It's also been a laugh having Lew's puns in the gallery.
A sense of humour is most important in life I think Ron. What a fantastic trip you had. Places like that are just wonderful and I think it is Ned Kelly in my sketch.
But Ned Kelly wore a bucket on his head.
Just popped in and had a good laugh at all the comments on your picture Denise! Here is an oil pastel sketch I did this week of flowers from a friend.
I think it was Ned’s day off he only wore the bucket to work . Nice flowers Diane.
LOL.  Nice flowers though.
Ha, really enjoying the banter! Love the flowers Diane.
Lovely flowers Diane. Ned's bucket has rolled off into the sunset that's why the Duke has skipped on his bike to chase after it to save the day. All was well as the day ended.
I’ve done it again...two for the price of one.  It is the middle of the night.   This ugly little chap popped up on a site I follow for animal rescue.  He’s so funny I couldn’t resist his ugly little face .  He is also terrorising the gallery .

He looks a bit scary Sylvia but beautifully drawn! Hope they found him a good home.
