hope you have fun when your new art supplies turn up, Marjorie. Again there have been some varied sketching again, great movement in your dancers Gudrun. I hoop you enjoyed eating the yoghurt as much as I enjoy looking at your sketch Tessa. Christopher, nice little rose, which has been well observed, and carried through to your mark making. Margaret some lovely flowers.
Todays picture is a carry on from face drawing, this was inspired by some music I was listing to.

Margaret you have such an easy style with your vase of flowers, makes it look effortless! Another good portrait Alan, inspired by music. I usually have the radio on when I’m painting, often classic FM.
My pen drawing today is from a photo I took of my daughters flat in London, with a view to a painting at some stage, thought I’d surprise them with it! The pen started to leak towards the end so there are a few blobby bits unintended to the lower right, but I tried to make them merge in with the rest!

Marjorie, hope you enjoy your new wax crayons. I got some more colours in ws pencils recently - need to try them soon (need to unpack them first!) Alan, looks like Bob Marley to me too - very good. Lovely sketch of your daughter's flat, Tessa - beautifully drawn - I am sure your daughter would love it - interested to see how the painting turns out.

Well, today's timetable is out of the window. Poorly grandson to look after, off school but still quite lively! Have taken a surreptitious photo to work on later.
Good sketch there Tessa, it would make a good painting.
Alan, good one of B. M.
Lovely watercolour of the market scene, vibrant rose from Christopher, Gudrun's lovely dancers, yogurt pot - quite amusing what is being sketched. Margaret, you'll have to buy some more flowers!

Wow some great stuff happening. Hope your grandson is soon better Marjorie. What with a sketch of a flat, can’t wait to see the painting. Bob M great likeness and sketched excellent, market sketch painted beautifully, lovely red rose, dancers, and a yogurt pot, such variety and talented. Quick watercolour sketch from me( not so quick) made up landscape done predominantly left handed.

So impressed you did that with your wrong hand Dixie! Worked very well. Hope you manage to find some time to sketch, Marjorie.
As it was dry late morning and actually sunny(ish), I went looking for plants (coltsfoot but didn't fine any) and took the sketchbook just in case - quick sketches of black-headed gull(s) (winter plumage) on Blackford Pond - there were ones with later plumage too but they didn't come close in. Fountainpen with water added in house. These are individual sketches, hence different sizes - 2 different gulls I think.

Nice pen sketch of your daughters flat Tessa, Paul I think your painting is fab, especially with your left hand, carry on just using the brush instead of pencil, it makes it a lot looser, Margaret lovely quick gull sketches, you are so brave to weather the elements!!, Hope your grandson recovers soon Marjorie, my effort today is a small crystal swan that I have, unfortunately the sun kept going in and out so I lost my way a bit, graphite pencil and uni pens in black and white.
