I agree with Sylvia - a lovely expression :)  and so impressed you did 90% of this with your non-dominant hand!
Another idea - paint with non dominant hand. Paul, don't know how you managed this good result!
That’s a pretty amazing fox with your ‘wrong’ hand Dixie! Shows how we are able to adapt when needed, and Marjorie yes it could be our next challenge! We did something similar in class years ago, not very successfully if I remember, but good to try these things. Hope the hands improve Dixie. You are certainly very determined to have your daily dose of painting!
Don't know where the weekend has gone other than to say some great sketches being produced, Paul so sorry to hear you are still having problems with your hands, hope you get them sorted soon. Your fox painting  is amazing, I wouldn't add any more to it, its just fine as it is.
Great fox Dixie, I know how you feel using the wrong hand, Many many moons ago, when I was in school, I had to have my right arm in a plaster cast for 2 months. Writing left handed at school was no fun, so I feel for you.  As for the weekend, of self portraiture or just torture, I also completed this little colour version of the market place sketch I showed in January.
Great fox Dixie sorry to here about your hands I don't think I could do as good as that with my wrong hand. Some nice work from everyone else as well. Here's mine for today, a rose.
Some excellent sketches again today, thank you all for the comments on my fox sketch. It was actually quite fun todo, I was surprised at the concentration needed, and think the outcome was better than I expected. Left handed challenge sound good, what would be good is to see the improvement over a short time. Also thank you for the good wishes, re my hands.
Very good marketplace watercolour, Alan - excellent composition and lots of lovely detail; the petal texture on that rose is spot on Christopher, lovely!

Two lovely dance poses Gudrun, you really have the angles and weight balance so good. Alan I like your watercolour market scene with some well observed little details. And Christopher a strong and vibrant red rose. Mine for today is a quick desert after dinner!
Very good lively sketches, Gudrun; and Tessa, that pudding pot is so good! Grabbed a few sketching minutes - yet another of those flowers - the narcissus and iris have died, so the contents of the vase looks quite different.  Watercolour marker on A2 cartridge paper.

Ordered some art materials today, a bit of this, a bit of that - among them some watersoluble wax colours. For the moment just ordered grey, ochre, raw umber, ultramarine and a pink. Just got back from looking after grandchildren, making tea etc so am afraid no sketch today.😔 Some lovely additions which I will comment on tomorrow. Nighty night all.
