Two very quick sketches of our hellebore as not very warm in garden!  Water (and pen detail to water soluble wax crayon version) added inside.   Have been wanting to sketch them for ages but weather has not been encouraging!

Two lovely " limpid" ( is that the right word?) sketches, Margaret. Love the addition of the pink. Must get some water soluble wax crayons.
Thank you Marjorie :)  I use the Caran D'Ache Neocolor II - a lovely selection of colours.
Lovely hellebores Margaret. I bought one the same sort of colour recently and have my eye on it for a sketch when it flowers, not quite ready yet! Sylvia, you’ve captured your garden birds very well with their movements and poses. My sketch today is of my husband’s friend Brian watching the England Ireland match. He’s on his own so comes to join us for the Six Nations matches, so a captive sketching subject while he’s here!
Well done everyone, sorry can’t play today, will send in my sick note later.
Another good portrait sketch, Tessa, and hope you are okay, Dixie.
I’m having a bit of a problem with my grip at the moment, cannot  hold my hand steady enough. Should be fine if I rest it, problem is I don’t sit still for long and itch to get on with things, start off with the intention to rest , but well it don’t alway work out. Thank you very much for asking  I do appreciate it.

Sorry to hear that Dixie - hope it gets better :)
Yes, Paul, hope things improve soon.
Thank you Margaret and Marjorie, sad to say I’m going to have to get used to days of not being able to paint. I’m off to see a specialist soon so hopefully they will come up with something. What I really need to do is rest both my hands, but I’m no own worst enemy.  Anyway  life goes on and there are goods as well. Manage this early this morning, left handed for 90% with the rest two handed. Might add some pen work later.
That foxy expression is priceless..hope you sort out your paws very soon Dixie.
Thanks Sylvia, I did think it looked a bit cartoony, but decided to leave it. I’ll probably use it when my granddaughters and I make up a story. Looks like it dreaming of the last chicken lunch. My paws are a bit better today and become easier as I use them gently.
