Marjorie this is beautiful, you have such a soft touch with your pencil work.
Oh dear, I have missed so many today/yesterday.  Lovely crocus and other spring flowers, Anjana; characterful pheasant, Alan and another great fun Paint Off!;  Tessa - lovely landscape drawing and that cherry tree pen and wash is beautiful; Marjorie - you are really getting to grip with digital and that is a lovely pencil sketch of Berwick - a town I would like to spend more time in - so historic and picturesque; like your truck, Dixie; lovely wood, Linda; and sorry to read about your car Christopher - nice fun lego figure.  I now need to go and think about doing some sketching!
All yours makes mine look very rushed.  Well, I am waiting for my takeaway so I am a little hungry!  I could not resist this image.  I just love ink and movement.

I saw this in the Gallery, Gudrun - it is beautifully drawn (and doesn't look rushed at all!).
Some fabulous sketches and Tessa your / my tree bark is great.  It’s very beautiful in reality as well.  Alan thank to you for the tip.  It’s never happened to me before.
Did this self-portrait (using a mirror) with a strong art lamp on the table - (did smooth my lines out!) for the new Self Portrait thread set up by Sylvia - hope it is okay to use this sketch for both!  Took approx 30 mins with water soluble wax crayons.   I will admit that it makes me look about 20 years too young - it has also been pointed put that my hair is blacker and less brown (fortunately the lighting didn't show my white hairs!)

Sorry I didn't comment on sketches yesterday, had a full on day, plus we've got two cat lodgers ( daughter's ) at the moment - eyes in the back of head needed. But I love looking through all the sketches and comments and am back on track from today.
Not putting a daily sketch on today, done my selfie portrait instead 😁 but well done to you all for some fantastic sketching 👍😘
I'm like Linda, did the selfie instead.
As I cannot concentrated enough to do a self portrait at the moment thought I would do a quite landscape for today’s post.
A lovely landscape Paul. I like the subtle grey colours you've used in the wall and on the cottage. You've used very few colours which echo throughout the painting, very nice effect. Re portraits, you have to paint what you want.
