I’m also liking the hephalump and the two old lamps, and the eisteddford dancers. Never been to an international one, just remember our annual school St David’s Day one which used to be a bit traumatic!
Got him from the rescue centre just two weeks ago.  He was a stray they had called him Yoda....we have rechristened him Samson...or Sam for short,  plus other things on occasion...he’s wrapping himself around our hearts apart from those occasions. 🐾
Well, Sylvia, at least he didn't cock his leg up on your art....or did he?......"those occasions"
He’s learning Marjorie....piddling on my pics is a no no.
Oh dear, I'm so far behind!  Lots of lovely sketches - blue mugs, daffs, elephant, lamp, paraffin can, musicians and dog.  Marjorie, I would never have guessed that the elephant was a digital sketch - that looks a good app.  Sylvia, your dog looks lovely - and as if he will keep you on your toes!
just a quick dash. here is my sketch for today
Dramatic Alan - I like those colours. Love Sylvia's doggy pics, Christopher's lamp, Paul's lamp and the dancers. Mine was using wc pencils ( not a fan ).
Great movement in your painting Alan, and Marjorie your big hydrangeas are lovely. I’ve gone for the purple orchid from our kitchen windowsill for today, pencil and some coloured pencils.
Super swan, Alan!  The watercolour and pen works brilliantly.   Your hydrangea is lovely, Marjorie - the wc pencils give a lovely soft effect.  I used to not like wc pencils but I bought a few Caran D'Ache Museum Aquarelle on recommendation of Alan Bickley and Alan Green, and have found them lovely to use - and great colours. Beautifully drawn orchid, Tessa  This is the same bunch of flowers as yesterday's but a much bigger painting - yesterday's was roughly A6, this is A2 cartridge.  Watercolour and pen.  Somewhere between a watercolour sketch and a painting - bit longer than my recent ones have taken.

Two beautiful posts, Tessa and Margaret. Love the details on your orchid, Tessa, the fine veins on the petals and the gentle colour. Margaret, your flowers are so vibrant, loose style great! The wc pencils I have don't seem strong in pigment.
Liking today's work from everyone today they are very good. here's mine for today inspired from my visit to the Donkey Sanctuary Flicker yesterday I bought this little pencil box which I thought was rather cute.
Dancers, dog, swan, lots of flowers and a pencil case, what a variety and all done so well. I’m following on from my last one, we had the Esso blue can and today we the Pink paraffin, just so I can’t be accused of favouring. We used this to fill the Aladdin paraffin heater.
