Just a ten minute ball pen and wash sketch after a visit from our local magpies
Will comment later after tea, my finished Highland Cow!!
What an interesting idea Christopher -  that will mess with my head a little, beautifully executed sketch. Hi Jim lovely pen and wash of magpies looking in opposite directions they look very lively. Linda your highland cow is so good. Looks as if you are drawing with the eraser, lovely effect.
Lovely Magpies Jim I like your style. The highland cow is magnificent Linda I really to love the shaggy fleece you have done. looking forward to seeing everyone else's today.
Gorgeous colours in that watercolour sketch, Anjana; you don't have get some interesting projects at Art Club, Christopher!  Lovely vase of flowers. ; Good to see you joining in Jim - your magpies have lots of character; and Linda, your finished Highland cow has turned out so well -beautifully drawn. Went out for a later afternoon walk with my sketch pad - unfortunately it started to rain when I started to draw!  (though fortunately only briefly and not too heavy, but paper did look a bit blotchy on the other sketch)  added water when I got home.  Here is one of them - Arthur's Seat and a wee bit of Salisbury Crags, Edinburgh.  Very quick - only a couple of minutes or so - was a bit chilly.

Christopher, I've done this before, a good way of studying tones. I wonder how different everyone's was.Jim, like your magpies and Margaret, your sketch is verging on the abstract. Mine is of three wine stoppers - I used to bring one back every time I'd been to Italy.
Love how you have managed to get the sheen on the glass, Dixie - hope you manage to get more drawing done soon :)   Nicely sketched wind stoppers, Marjorie - I like the mix of line and colour.
I like your mis typing Margaret! Windstoppers - is that for when you've drunk the wine?😆
I thought wine produced wind, not stopped it! Some fab offerings but I’m not going to comment individually. We’ve been out to see the new Emma film and for a meal, then home to catch the end of the cricket, very exciting, which inspired this! I’ll have more time to have a proper look and comment tomorrow-forgive!
