Lovely Winnie the Poo card, great " spuggie" always called them that in the North East, plenty here in Notts, they bred in one of our nest boxes for the last two years, Great trainer, lovely landscape and great figure sketch Tessa. I started on this pencil drawing this afternoon and will finish it tomorrow, its a bit more than a sketch but I'm loving doing these drawings when the weather is bad and its too cold in the little bedroom to paint, I can sit in the room and draw these with not too much equipment out, and its all practice!! Everyone is doing so well.

Alan's Winnie card is very cute and it will be unique. Go faster trainers, Christopher - well drawn. Paul, your watercolour was quick! Do you think this daily sketching is having an effect?
A two months free sketching course when you think about it and looking at what everyone else does spurs you on. Tessa, you've given us four for the price of one! I'm counting the tricky trombone. I wish I had a weekly course to go to, self motivation can be hard.
I was too tired to sketch after having painted but I've got a topic ready for tomorrow.

Thanks for all the different names for speugs :) Snazzy trainers, Christopher; nice free watercolour sketch, Dixie - looks a lovely place; very nice musical sketches, Tessa - I know from experience that it is difficult to draw somebody when they are playing a musical instrument; beautifully drawn HIghland cow, Linda; nice sketch, Alan!; and lovely painting Marjorie - no reason to do an additional sketch - we should maybe change the title to daily(sh) sketches and paintings?
I agree re it being like a sketching course - it's lovely to see all the different subjects and styles - and I seriously think I wouldn't still be doing daily sketches if it wasn't for the inspiration and company. Thank you for joining me and keeping me going :)

Tessa lovely sketch of workmen with splashes of yellow and of tuba player (seems like a complicated subject) – fabulously done, Dixie well done for braving the cold great watercolour of the old gate and of the Chilterns with the beautiful autumn foliage, Linda stunning brown hare, and highland cow – looking forward to seeing him/her finished. Great to see a sketch of your painting Marjorie and the super painting of the allotment. Alan pencil sharpener, another tricky subject, tackled wonderfully and pooh bear – bet your friend will love the card, Margaret gorgeous house sparrow(wasn’t aware of all these nicknames, fascinating what you learn) and sheep with attitude – certainly comes across! Ooh very cool trainers Christopher nicely done. No sketch from me been playing with watercolour washes and ended up with this
