Quick question, as you know I have been doing my 6 nation paint off pictures, should I post them altogether so as not to flood this thread, or one at a time as England play them. so this week its the turn of the Scots. I await some feed back.  Ps for a sneak peak, England v Scotland is in the gallery.
Love the silhouette on the map Christopher, that’s a great idea. You are all doing fabulously, keep up the good work!
Some lovely landscapes, Tynemouth Priory, Whitby abbey and Fife with boats, then today’s animals, Anjana’s cute bunny’s, Christopher’s Dartmoor pony and Linda’s lovely badger peeping the the gap! Also Christopher like the silhouette, looks good on the map. This is a funny little bridge in Lower Slaughter, a very pretty little village near here, and on one of my regular walks.
Lovely lively sketch, Tessa - just the right amount of detail. I don't seem to be getting my sketches done this month until after dinner. This one is a fairly quick sketch of a camel from a book of marvellous photographs by Wilfred Thesiger "Visions of a Nomad".

Don’t think we’ve had a camel before Margaret! He’s rather lovely.
That's certainly a quirky bridge Tessa. Margaret, love that camel - these sketches are getting more way out - shall we all head east?
Yes let’s! Out of curiosity I looked up my bridge and it’s classed as a grade 2 listed building weirdly. It’s called Down Stream Bridge and was built in 1622.
Great Camel, I find them quite difficult to draw. Tessa I like your bridge, I walked on it a couple of times over the years. Bit of a cheat today, I was rummaging through old painting and came across this, as it wasn’t quite finished and I don’t want to do to much at the moment, I put the finishing touches to it. If I remember it’s a dark form of barn owl. Keep up the great work folks.
Lovely expressive owl, Dixie.  Glad you are managing to still do some sketching - I am impressed :) Alan, I'm enjoying seeing the 6 nations paintings one at a time - gives a chance to enjoy each one. Took an A6 sketchbook with me this morning when I walked up to the local Recycling Depot.  Lovely and sunny and the forecast strong winds hadn't arrived yet.  Salisbury Crags from Dalkeith Road, Edinburgh.  Fountain pen and water.

Some good work going in again, love your quirky bridge Tessa, been there but don.t remember the bridge, lovely owl painting Dixie, the colours are great, you have managed to get them just right, Margaret you are great at doing these quick outdoor sketches, and that camel is a beaut. Today's sketch is in pen at the moment but I will probably do a light wash over it tomorrow, its of Grasmere in the Lakes.
Great work ladies and Gentlemen. Great drawing of Grasmere Linda, can wait to see it painted. Margaret nice flowing sketch of Salisbury Crags. Thank you for your answer to my question. As I have been out most of the day I shall post todays here, as well. Good luck Scotland but hope you fall just short. Apparently Nessy was a Mascot for Scottish back in 2018.Dixie great Owl, your choice of colours and markings seem to be spot on. I too don't like drawing Camels as they give me the Hump.. But its a great drawing Margaret. Tessa a nice bridge sketch.
Love the sketch of  the hills Margaret, I remember how impressed I and later my family were when we passed through Edinburgh on the way to Kinross most impressive. As to still managing to sketch, it will have to be really really bad to stop me, then I’ll find some way of still painting and drawing. Linda that’s a beautiful sketch, your pen work I’d brilliant.
