So much good work going on, we must be getting better. I’m using one I did yesterday whilst telling a story to my granddaughters. It quite cartoony as it was about a sad old truck, using it as my hands are so painful today cannot hold a pencil very well. Some of the colours were added by the girls.
That’s lovely Dixie. I feel your truck has a smile on its face and looks ready to tell a story! How good that your granddaughters were there to complete this. Your obviously passing on your talents and interests to them, and I think that’s great. Sorry to hear your hands are bad again. It must make artwork very difficult. Hope they improve soon. X
Thank you Tessa, it one of the thing I learning to put up with. I will manage to do something today as I will not let it stop me, still there are people worse off. Both the girls love painting and drawing, the elder one asked for drawing items for Christmas, her parents bought her a beautiful box set. Have a good day.
Paul, hope things improve . Lovely that your grand daughters like to help. We're all still persevering, time is a factor sometimes. I'll have to postpone till later. Well done again, Margaret, Anjana and Christoper!
This was quickly done from a sketch I did yesterday. A little clumsy but hey ho!
Sorry to read you have bad hands Dixie, It can't be nice. You have managed to make the truck look sad well done, Also great colours. Marjorie like your Tynemouth priory very inviting, I have copied your theme, and inspired to post my version of Whitby abby.
Love the lean you have on the old truck, very sad looking, hope your hands improve soon, you are still producing good stuff!! Marjory I love your Tynemouth Priory, and Alan your painting of Whitby Abbey is a beaut!! Mine today is sticking to the nature theme of a Badger, it took me about an hour.Mixed media its only small, 5 x 3
It might be small Linda but it a beauty
Was at sketch club today and the brief was to do a silloette using a map as a canvas and work from a portrait photo so here is my effort.
Very effective Christopher.
I'm noting your ideas Christopher, especially the keys and the silhouette on the map. I couldn't resist looking to see which map it was USA? Very different subject, Linda, good to get out the paints again. Good, too, that we inspire each other, re Whitby Abbey, Alan. We're going great guns here!
Such a cute cuddly toy painting, Anjana!   Nice pose, Christopher - lovely wee pony; sorry to hear about your hands, Dixie, but cracking joint effort - lovely to hear your granddaughters like art too; super sketches of ruined buildings Marjorie and Alan; gorgeous badger, Linda; and your intriguing silhouette, Christopher.  Another wonderful variety of topics.
