Nice one Paul, I am carrying on with the nautical theme with an old winch on a house pier here in Stromness. Not my usual subjects but could hardly ignore them in such an environment. Sitting opposite the Scapa Flow and the last port for the Hudson Bay Company before heading off to Canada! Not to mention our famous arctic explorer John Rae who discovered the North West Passage.

Bigger feet, Denise, or ducky will fall over and bang his snoot - but otherwise, yup - it's a duck. At my local hospital they have grounds & water features: as the staff (and occasional volunteers, such as myself when I could still do it) go out to have our sandwiches, the ducks sidle up to us and poke their necks and bills upwards in an appealing search for food = you've got the ducky body, but the feet are much bigger: I've had them planting them on my shoes, so I know!

There's a lot of bottom there, Bari...... as an entirely sociological note, it does disturb me to see so many VAST backsides among my fellow citizens these days, reminiscent of the USA 20 years ago: you see 'em queuing for fish and chips, and think - 'that's really the LAST thing you need'...

Good heavens young Robert I can’t believe your not being PC I’m absolutely shocked , but your right . And you as well Katy I cannot believe it , a Good sketch by the way. A very quick pencil and watercolour sketch from me inspired by watching a program of the marshes in southern Iraq, reminded me of Norfolk broads .
