Yes I was suspicious of some of the work on the gallery all by the same person, I was thinking of commenting but decided that as I wasn’t sure about it I would not . I have been caught out recently on a couple of paintings on the gallery, unfortunately nothing we can do and as several people have said recently we are bound to get more pure AI or AI used to enhance a poor painting.

I did see at least one image that I was suspicious of yesterday I think it was.
Decided not to challenge it because it did say oil painting… which means nothing of course, we can write anything but doesn’t mean it’s true!
I see another image has been posted today, I’m very suspicious.
Genuine oil or AI, I don’t particularly like this style of art so would never comment anyway, give me a Tim Benson any day…

It has to be said, or anyway I'm going to, that some images - all right, not many - do get "that's lovely" type reviews without there being a lot of justification: because people genuinely like to encourage others. This gets problematic with AI, since it encourages laziness and semi-fraudulent posts. Now tell you what we're supposed to do about it? Um....... Can't.
Incidentally - est-ce que nous parlons d'un homme francais? (I knew that GCE would come in handy eventually.)

Alan - as I understand it, and I may understand incorrectly, no amount of software can definitively identify every AI offering; we have to rely on our own eyes and judgement, as presumably do Warners - it is extremely difficult at times, though the work in this case is pretty clearly either AI generated or "improved", as a number of features suggest; though it's been cleverly done.
This site would be hugely the poorer without your work, so I hope you will find that Warners take whatever action they can, that we continue to challenge AI efforts - I won't call them works - and that sooner or later these chancers stop taking us all for fools and dupes.

I’ll make a decision when I get a response. Dawn used to delete them on our request, but that’s history now obviously!
These two offerings are almost certainly AI, and frankly not even in good taste, silly nonsense in my opinion, albeit many members are gushing over them… but I’m not! This isn’t my humour but that’s just me.
Watch this space… I will leave if Warners decides to accept AI on a painters website.

I've challenged M. Mathieu on one of his images; we'll see what he says, if he says anything. Once AI is accepted on this platform, of course, we might as well just give up on it; sometimes - and I'm angry and may as well be frank - I despair of some of our members who don't look critically at what's laid before them; I know it's difficult, I've every sympathy with that, but come on: make an effort... more of an effort: really LOOK.
