Look forward to seeing it Frank. Good luck! But you know what you’re doing.
I quickly jotted down one or two lines in my diary, the first time I had met Léon's character.
Graphite sketch
That’s a good one George
A sketch today from a AI image I cropped. From a history AI video. Derwent Graphitint pencil on cheap cartridge paper.
That’s an unusual and good composition Frank. Good to see Lewis pressing on with his Acrylic adventure.
A figure a day keeps the rust away.
Good proportions John and surprising look on her face.  George, you really are the king of light and shade, so much depth to your sketches
And let us not overlook the puddytat - a lively critter,  nicely done.
Your sketches are excellent George and always skilfully done. I bought a set of dip pens with a selection of nibs yesterday, I’m enjoying using pen so thought I’d give the dip pen a go . It’s very long time since I last used one at school as we used them for writing, that’s showing my age , yes I did get ink all over and my finger stuck in the desktop inkwell. I had a very strict nun as a teacher, not did she hurt when she shut  the desktop lid on your hand , alway asking god for forgiveness as she did it.  Looks better when it’s not close up , it’s a6 with pastel colour will need more practice and maybe start with larger pieces.
Nice rural barn Paul, always like white chalk on grey paper.  Today's daily sketch from my walk. I just started drawing some branches over water and finished it later using pens of various types.  Not interested in texture here, more the shapes of the branches, hence the silhouette approach.
