I enjoyed doing a pen and ink sketch last week so after shopping today I wanted to do another. Something quick before the light goes. I was wondering what I should sketch and decided on a quick selfie. It took just under two hours. its graphite, pen and ink. It's a likeness but I wasn't looking for an exact likeness. What I enjoyed was using the pen and ink to express the eyes, some lines in the face and the hair. Yes, I can say there is something in the freedom of using pen and ink that I like.
It has a spontaneity about it Denise - it’s very good!
Very good pen and ink Denise
Great pen work Denise . A pen , ink and pastel sketch old tramp steamer passing  rocks and a lighthouse in fog on A4 grey paper.

Nice work guys… here’s one that I made earlier! Pen and wash with a touch of white chalk, on toned grey paper around A4.

More winners Paul !
Your daily drawings are fantastic... here's a little exercise with my dipping pens, this thick one is called a stub, I think? It's incredibly difficult to "write" with it... excuse my arrogance, "what else"; I'm currently ill... (sore throat, cold, flu)
