You are working very well Paul, I like all of these recent ones.
Thanks George. Pen sketch to which I will add a little colour, imaginary scene of a busy Thames , have a little more pen work to do I’ve just realised.
Some good sketches in the preceding posts. One from me, a friendly swan (…well it didn't hiss at me)  allowed me to take a photo, and I worked up this little pencil sketch in 3B pencil and a touch of white chalk. A5 in my sketchbook.
Very good sketch Andrew. Swans are lovely shapes to sketch and you've done this one so well.
Like the swan Andrew , nice sketch . Added some colour to the sketch I posted above.

Todays sketch inspired by recent news and one of Lews sketchess.
What about a foot in the Challenge George. Title: The Risen Christ.
Just got around to a ball point pen sketch
Both the last two are good - though I'm not sure George's doesn't introduce a rather excessive note of festivity!  That's quite a bright blue - still; it does show what can be done; I'd just reconsider the blue, and go a bit darker.... mind you: I'm so conservative! I like John's clean lines - but don't think he needed a biro to accomplish them... I'd rather see that in charcoal or carbon pencil: but - I could well be prejudiced againt biro/bic, etc.
You are right Robert, the background colours is much too blue, reflecting showing colour  from my overhead lighting. I've re photographed it more carefully. The ball point pen I used was blue The result is not very much different than I would have got with my normal Fude pen but it was less satisfying to do in ball point for some reason and I wont be doing any more of them.
