The stub pen is indeed hard to write with, but if you can get the ink to flow (which takes practice) it can make very expressive marks.  I hope you're feeling much better very soon - I dread getting a cold: I haven't had one for at least two years, so when I do it's likely to be something extra vengeful.  The stub can be good, with very black ink, for blackletter writing - though I've never managed to make it work for any sort of writing.

Nice pen work Tanja. Last nights sketch A6 pen , pastel and a little white acrylic, the larger sketch is one I’m working on for a pen and wash , based with Addison of the boats on a 1905 photo .
Here is my sketch of Albrecht Durer's Head of the Dead Christ. I've done it in light Hb pencil as I intend trying a biro drawing. I bought a cheap black, blue and red biro. It might not turn out well.
That’s a great sketch Denise .

@Robert: Thank you so much for your kind feedback; yes, I understand the fear now, it's hit me pretty hard right now. How are you supposed to breathe when your nose is 99.8% blocked? It's awful... I'm like an addict, glued to a tissue with menthol drops... Paul & Denise, your sketches and paintings are fantastic!! This is "my gallery" for me :))
