Oh Robert, you said that so beautifully, very good and right words, thank you!!
My great nephew's birthday today - my brother told me  he (one Eddie) liked monsters; ah, I thought - brightly - I've been wasting my time recently watching Bigfoot/Sasquatch videos on YouTube: I'll draw him a Bigfoot.  Snag: when I'd finished it, I realized it would give the boy nightmares  - I was uneasy about it myself; though perhaps Eddie is made of sterner stuff; however - I thought I'd better not take the risk, and hurriedly drew this  one instead.
Not a self portrait hopefully Robert! I walked this morning through this now defunct farm which until recently was a dairy farm. Interesting old buildings.
No, but it does look a bit like my brother, the boy's granddad...... though obviously not to tell him I said so.
I shan’t say a word Robert!
I like those farm buildings Tessa, just the sort of thing that would make me stop and draw it. Useful for including in a landscape… In fact, I’m working on an oil as we speak, which has a group of farm buildings as the main focal point.
I did think it was your kind of subject Alan. I have noticed this week the change of colour in the landscape at least around here which has seemed quite sudden with greens changing to ‘harvest golds’. Nice contrasts and very appealing to paint.
