Brilliant Sandra ,that middle one is a bitspecial
There was another lovely artist called, if I remember rightly, Ibolya Taligas. She posted some superb work on POL but there seems to be none of her paintings in the Gallery now. I remember that she had eye trouble, but don't remember precisely what. However her work can be found online, with a Google Images search so I assume she is still painting although I couldn't find a date. Perhaps someone here might know more? I hope I'm not breaking copyright adding one of her lovely paintings to this thread. Danube reflections.
Syd, and Bloodaxe (I wish I could remember the latter's name!) passed away some time ago.  Jim Morris is in the region of 84 - I hadn't noticed he hasn't been around for a few weeks; hope he's OK.  Others were Norder - Diane Hudson - who tells me off on Facebook occasionally, when I complain about getting old: she says she's much older than I am - tee hee; I know!  Good painter/artist - excellent work with coloured pencils particularly. Thea Cable - that was a tragic story: she was a student of a US watercolourist, Charles .... something: memory fade again!  Sadly, she developed brain cancer which massively affected her vision; died a couple of years ago.  Alan Owen often showed here, and he's still working, over on Facebook and Patreon.  There was the lovely Ruth Dolan, of course, as Paul will know.  Also gone to join the angels.  I remember Ibolya, and most of the others mentioned.  Béatrice Cloake - as Sylvia says - has eyesight problems, but is still active over on Facebook and Etsy (getting very frustrated with the latter, due to the chunk they claw out of earnings on their site).  And Sylvia - yes: I'm pretty sure you've been here from the very start, previously as North Light, dropped in, dropped out, dropped in again - like me, with a certain political party which periodically drives me up the wall and back down again....  similar reasons, I think.  And the watercolourist solicitor, whose wife passed away and has not been back since - was it Michael Edwards?  I should remember, but my excuse is I've worked in so many different organizations, and met so many people, that I get confused over names: and then there's the truth, which is that I'm getting old and forgetful....... He painted rich, colourful watercolours, and is much missed.  We had Adebanji Alade once, of course, who has gone on to finer things (jealous, me?  Tush....); Steve Strode showed here; Arnold Lowrey too - who is somewhat rich in years now; Leslie Dabson, with her fine marine paintings - I know she's still working and doing well.  Then a young man who posted as Daveyboyz, or something like that - had a wonderful ding-dong with old Syd!  There was a bit of mutual misunderstanding there - which has happened from time to time, all of us being human. Someone mentioned Paulette Farrell - who made huge progress, then sadly developed a terminal illness.  There's a real mix of deep sadness at our losses, and great joy for those who have sprung from our midst to greater success.
Bloodaxe was Mick Saunders!  His gallery is still on this site.   He was well-named - he could be very fierce: but a heart of gold, and considerable talent.
I liked old Syd (Edwards), he didn’t beat about the bush and wasn’t afraid to offer critique… often offending fellow members - I think we’ll leave it there! Jim Morris hasn’t posted for at least six months, if I’m not mistaken - that doesn’t bode well as he hardly ever missed a day with at least a couple of sketches, more often a full house of four!
Well remembered Robert…I don’t remember that lady Sandra, but the painting is beautiful.

Another artist I particularly liked was Barbara Shaw, who did fabric art collage. She hasn't posted now for some years, I hope that she is still creating. Her collages were very appealing. Toast and marmalade: Self portrait with new glasses.

Barbara is still busy with her collage work. She has accounts on instagram and facebook.

That’s rather sad to hear that Jim isn’t posting at the moment.
Two Tristan from me this morning. John Johnson who’s work I really admire, unfortunately nothing posted since latter end of last year . Sarah Brewer who hasn’t posted for a long time ,  she did beautiful botanical work .
Good to know that Barbara is still creating, thank-you Diana. I don't do Facebook or Instagram so can't check those. I'm afraid I don't feel very hopeful about lovely Jim. Does anyone know what Tao Barry is doing now? Yes Robert it was Michael Edwards, I always enjoyed his comments on the Forum, very sorry we seem to have lost him.
There is some fabulous work on here.   There was a digital artist who used to post regularly but I can't recall his name. There was bit of fuss a year or so ago about his work which caused me to stop posting for a while.

If I’m not mistaken, this guy was submitting AI work and passing it off as his own paintings - he was found out eventually, never to return…
