Delightful work
A real  treasure trove of art right here on  POL.  Jim Morris isn't posting.  That's so unlike him, I hope he's OK.
Jim hasn’t posted for some time now… I’ve remarked on it to several members, but nobody has any information. As a productive artist and poster on pol, it sounds ominous! Hope I’m wrong, but why else would he just stop! The Linda that I was talking about earlier is probably Linda Drury. Perhaps it wasn’t common knowledge that her daughter was Rachel, who also posted. I can’t recall her surname.
I did a search for Linda Drury as I liked her work very much. She is still active on instagram and Etsy as LindasWatercolours.
A more abstract Dennis Rounding from 2020, Street scene.
Another artist I particularly liked was Barbara Shaw, who did fabric art collage. She hasn't posted now for some years, I hope that she is still creating. Her collages were very appealing. Toast and marmalade: Self portrait with new glasses.
Two artists from me , no recent posts from either for a while . Andrew Lucas . Jennifer Alsop
Tao Barry was another favourite of mine. She did Chinese brush painting on raw silk, among other types of painting. The two I'm posting are brush painting on raw silk.
Some super work on display here.  My problem is I can't always remember the names, although I'm recognising much of the work shown here.  I've started using the 'wall' that comes with the studio package.  I add paintings I particularly like...when I remember to do it.   Here's a fine character painting that I admired painted by Moira Simonsen...it's called Ballito Barry.  I was looking forward to seeing more of her work, but I see from her gallery that this is the only painting she's posted (in June last year.)
A Shropshire lady, Thea ? Passed away a good few years ago… Thea Cable? Robert and Sylvia will remember her - spoke her mind and took no prisoners!

Lovely Thea she liked “splat” as well she caught the moment well and yes we disagreed on occasion, she was a loss to the site.   Diana Hudson I am still in contact, Patsy King  the Irish nurse from Oz    She is fine lovely Syd Edwards from Broughty Ferry he thought I was a Bonnie lass…..a long time ago .  Jim Morris’ from Bolton area I don’t recognise those pics Lew I think of his dancers…and Robert I still cannot remember BloodAxes real name. I have a feeling that I am the oldest and longest member on here….Oh and Beatrice Cloake and her beautiful flowers.   She was widowed gin Covid and has the begginings of the same eye complaint as me but still painting beautifully.

Syd Edward - great minds think alike Sylvia, I was thinking of him too. He was a regular contributor to the Forum, always enjoyed his posts, he could get into a bit of a stoush sometimes. I was really upset when we lost him. I've selected three of his paintings, showing different styles and subject matter, landscape, abstract, cartoon.
