I was brought up in Somerset but now live in Surrey where aspects of the city such as the parks, river and open spaces provide inspiration for my paintings. I am a self-taught artist and have painted for many years. I love using watercolour but also enjoy using acrylics, pastel and most recently, mixed media - watercolour and collage especially. I love paining outdoors and especially in the autumn and winter when the light is varied and the trees change.
