Wow I like this even better than the other one. I can FEEL the heat bouncing off those cliffs. The colours are exciting and the way you have described the rock formations. Interesting description.

The reds shouted 'Australia' immediately. I admire the bold swirling rocks and contrasting waving greens. It looks positively maritime!

Really great fluid painting, like your colours, it's very dynamic.

A wonderful dynamic painting full of heat!

Very energetic painting, lovely warm colours.

Driving up The Middle, or The Red Centre, of Australia is "one big experience". It's a long way ... and it gets hot! In this watercolour painting I have tried to give an indication of the heat hitting the tall red cliffs that form part of the Ranges. It's amazing how trees grow here but their roots go deep down. Below the surface is the Great Artesian Basin, the largest underground supply of water in the world. In the Wet Season the foreground you see in the painting will become a place to cool off with a swim.
