Join professional watercolour artist, Grahame Booth for a two-hour online masterclass where he will paint a coastal scene from the south of Ireland with evening sky, sea, rocks and vegetation. We’ll even squeeze a building in, too! For this subject, it will be important to create plenty of tonal variety in what can often be quite a flatly lit subject. You'll learn how to tackle tricky elements within the scene including rocks, which often pose problems when suggesting three-dimensional forms, and how to keep the sea flat and horizontal. In this exclusive online class, Grahame will demonstrate a variety of techniques that can be easily transferred to your own coastal subjects to help you create paintings full of light and vibrancy.

Masterclass information

• The masterclass will take place on Zoom and will last for approximately 2 hours, including a short break half-way through, with Q&A session at the end (these are approximate timings and may vary slightly). 
• Once you have registered for the masterclass, you'll receive an email confirmation containing your link to join the masterclass on the day, plus Grahame's suggested materials list and reference photograph for the session.
• During the masterclass, you'll have the opportunity to submit your questions and chat with fellow attendees using the Q&A and 'chat' buttons at the bottom of your screen. 
• The masterclass will be recorded and will be made available to all registered attendees the day after the live session, for one month following the live masterclass.
