Thursday 23 May at 11am (BST)
Tickets: £15

Avoid including figures in your watercolour scenes? In our new series of webinars with experienced artist, Marilyn Allis, you'll learn how to tackle this often tricky subject.

In this watercolour and mixed-media collage class, Marilyn will guide you through how to use a combination of mixed-media, including collage and watercolour, as you create a beautiful painting of cellos at the Wellington Opera House in New Zealand. You will discover new techniques and approaches to approaching your subject matter, including incorporating subliminal references that may not be obvious at first. Suitable for artists of all levels; Marilyn will provide lots of tips and advice to help you create loose impressionistic paintings without feeling overwhelmed or fiddling too much. The webinar will provide a supportive environment where you can experiment with different approaches, using paper for lights and darks or as a different type of canvas.
