Our 2024 TALP Open Art Competition is now open for entries with the chance for you to see your work exhibited at Patchings Art Centre and win art prizes worth over £19,000.

We are looking for the best two-dimensional works in any media including drawings, paintings and printmaking from amateur painters in the Leisure Painter category, and from more experienced and professional artists in The Artist category.

Up to 140 selected works from each category will be exhibited at Patchings Art Centre in two separate galleries, opening on the first day of the 2024 Patchings Art Fest on July 11, 2024 and running until August 11.

Artists can enter up to three works for just £25, or up to six for £45.

NEW FOR 2024!

This year sees the introduction of our TALP Young Artist of the Year Awards.

We're thrilled to offer young artists the opportunity to enter their own categories within The Artist and Leisure Painter Open Art Competition (TALP).

The two categories are:

• Under 18
• 18-30

One winner from each category will be selected to have their work exhibited at Patchings Art Centre, within the full TALP 2024 exhibition. Each winner will also receive a unique prize from one of our fantastic prize sponsors.

Artists aged under 18 can enter one artwork for just £5 and those aged 18-30 can submit two entries for £15.
