Nice loose work Alan.

I really like it. What different colours do you mix to get the colours of the rocks?

Thank you for looking at this painting and for your encouraging comments. Hazel the palette was only four colours, ultramarine, burnt umber, burnt sienna and raw sienna. The rocks were painted as one big wet against wet shape and the colours mixed on the paper. I find this best because if I mix them on the palette I just get 'mud'. Looking at this myself I think the mast is a bit too short - sailors would notice this!

Lovely work Alan. Colours mixed on the paper always look good.
