Michael thank you for your post. Must admit not enthusiastic about the new website so seldom visit. Also not painting much and miss the email notifications one used to get when someone has commented. Such is progress. However have visited your own gallery and realised how accomplished you are in all sorts of media . Puts me to shame.

Admire the looseness of your watercolour Alan. I&#39;m a great fan of well-placed white spaces, and these are just right, counterbalancing the verticals in the buildings and trees.<br />PS If you want to receive your comments by mail, you should tick the box on your profile page (somewhere near the bottom, perhaps you missed it ?)

Don&#39;t be put off - your work is really great and I for one would love to see more of your work on the new POL. I must admit it is a great shame they didn&#39;t consult with the users when designing the new site but too late now. Actually notifications of comments can be received by email (I get them all the time) just check your settings in &#39;My Account&#39; - I think under profiles as Sharon suggests.
