Thank you Carole, Stephen, Alan, Lewis, Frank, Heather, Anne and Fiona for your lovely comments. We were walking home from a local restaurant with our son just before Christmas, it had just started to snow as a fox walked across the road in front of us. My son who is a fan of the band Belle and Sabastian started to sing Fox in the Snow which is his favourite track by them. It’s been going around in my head ever since and was the inspiration for this piece!
