Well done Christine - what a pity the arts are bullied by the same fashion demands as clothes: now it's in, now it's out, then it is money or forgotten. Art Nouveau was beautiful, dreaming, soothing - and sometimes exciting. You caught that very well - and why not express yourself in a style that once pleased so many? Did you see the TV features on Mucha, Gallee, Beardsley recently? In that vein, Hockney doesn't own the contrasting viridian/ sienna colours - your akacia is a Christine Davies without apologies. Great.
