Two teapot paintings in a row - what a co-incidence. Also it is great because the approach and styles are so very different - diversity is everything, isn't it. I love your bold interpretation with the thick black lines (which I haven't been brave enough to attempt yet, but want to), a strong design and a great composition. Lively work.

Is it a teapot day? Love the boldness of this Christine and the great colour combinations.

Good one Christine. I do like the green striped background against the black and white foreground. Good mix of apple shapes and confident pen lines as well!

Like this Christine very much

I really like it Christine, great colourful painting

Thank you Thea, Fiona, Louise, Glennis and Petra, I have had this in my head for a few days and enjoyed committing it to paper, I like strong colour and shapes and found it rewarding to do, which isn't always the case!

Really bright, cheerful and lively! It's a lovely style.

Nice composition and confident use of colours. Very appealing painting Christine

Great colours and shapes Christine set off beautifully with the bold pen outlines.

Love the shapes and patterns. Super painting.

Just look at those contrasting colours.... Love this.

Thank you Julie, Pat, Val, Sharon and Sylvia for your lovely comments. It's a style I plan to develop as it incorporates everything I like, strong colour, shapes and design. Looking at it now I wish I'd made the flowers bigger but there's always next time!

I'm glad I am not the only one who has something lurking in mind for a while ... this is such a lovely strong composition and the colours the black lines really make this work.

I love this, Christine! Love the composition, the simplicity yet accuracy of the shapes and the splendid use of shapes, colors and space. Excellent work!

Very bold Christine and it works really well!

Just my cup of tea, Christine !

I thought that I had commented on this but haven't! I love it Christine and I think that you are right to develop this style, it is fantastic , eye catching with strong bright colours and very loveable.
