Rock Pool - Seaside collaboration challenge

Zentangle! now steady on Christine, it's only early yet for those big words. An attractive arrangement and your crab is so decorative, well thought out, I have to think of an idea later, hope it's not another scorcher though, it dulls my thought process - doesn't take much mind you...

Haven't got a glue of what that strange word means but your painting is very decorative and beautifully made Christine. Don't melt away in that heat, drink a lot but not too much Pimm's in your water!

Thank you very much Alan, Satu, Dennis and Carole. Zentangle is a meditative process of creating art by drawing structured shapes and patterns. A friend of mine introduced me to it and it is quite addictive, for someone, like me, who enjoys patterns and is a compulsive doodler, it's ideal! Hope you're enjoying your Finnish summer Satu, it's raining here at the moment which is a relief! I think it's you who's been at the Pimm's Lol!

What is Zentangle? Another new genre perhaps? Anyway, whatever it is, this is beautiful - I love the frilly edges to all the sea creatures - the crab is especially attractive. A super idea and very different.

This is absolutely delightful, Christine - I really like the interaction of the curvy lines with the more geometric shapes of the shells. Love this new direction you're taking!

Thank you all for your comments. I tried to explain what Zentangle art is but suggest you 'Google' it to get a better explanation. It's supposed to be relaxing and therapeutic but it is very intricate and wouldn't appeal to everyone!
