Labour exploitation is not new. It’s been present for, perhaps, as long as human existence. But sadly it’s an ever-present reality in many parts of our world with children and women being the primary victims. The vicious circle of poverty and inevitability must seem utterly hopeless. Thankfully, there are numerous organizations valiantly striving to end this form of exploitation and provide an enduring sense of hope and dignity.
