Looks great Wib really rickety. I love the old times as well but it was hard and easy at the same time ,I think in life there's always a trade off, the slow pace of life is lovely but so is central heating and television. You can't have it all Wib on balance its easier now but some of the magic has gone .

I love the textures of old wood Wib. Modern things just don't compare. And I love the beautiful colours - a really vibrant piece and a success in depicting the textures.

This painting is a little “old worldish” in its subject. As I mentioned in a previous painting the textures of old wood and colour is something I’m hard pressed to resist. This painting conveys for me perhaps a simpler although not necessarily easier way of life.
