A super painting Wib. I have a stream that runs outside my house and it's wonderful to lie in bed and hear it but it's a different story in stormy weather when it swells and threatens to break it's bank!!!

I agree totally with your narrative Wib, the sound of water can trigger so many emotions and memories. Love the way you have the water tumbling down over the mossy rocks....gorgeous.

When on a hike and I hear running water I find I’m drawn to it like a magnet – maybe it’s the kid still alive in me! This painting is based on a photo I took a few years back of a little stream running through a conservation area. For me, the sound of burbling water in a stream is one of nature’s most awesome ways of centering the soul.
