A few weeks ago I mentioned my interest in illustration covers for mystery novels. This is my second effort with the possible title: Mystery at High Plains Chapel. I’ve used a very loose impasto type style that I was hoping might underscore some of the mystery of a chilling event that occurred many years before at the church. A newcomer to the area suddenly finds himself unwillingly pulled into a dark story of intrigue and murder that connects two prominent families.
