A Welsh Village (after Peter Cronin)

Lovely washes

Nicely done indeed.

Love the limited palette and the figure with the dog Brian. This has a simple charm about it

Good one Brian 👍

Thank you for your comments David, Paul, Chris & Stephen. I cannot claim any credit for the washes Heather, nor for the limited pallet Carole. They were my best efforts to copy Peter Cronins original work specifically in an attempt to improve my own washes. I like the result but methinks more practice is required to master the skill.

Clean and precise

Lovely work, Brian. And this is how we learn. I saw some of Peter's work exhibited at a gallery in Crickhowell, they too were lovely to view.

Thank you David. Thanks Spencer, there's a nice simplicity about Peters composition. Yes Carol, I was fortunate enough to see Peters demo at Patchings last year & I'm booked on his painting holiday this year. Looking forward to it, I have lots to learn. Thanks so much Coral.
