A superb painting and it’s painted really well. The scene looks fine I personally like the foreground trees but I do understand where your coming from we tend to pick hole’s in our own work.

Thank you for your reassuring comments David, Paul, Heather, Stephen, Valerie, Spencer & David. I liked the foreground trees in the photograph I took, thinking that, with the overhanging branches it framed the scene nicely however I'm not convinced it works in the painting. Must remember photographs are photographs and do not always transpose into a painting.
