Thank you for your lovely comments. I’m going through a stage of rust-loving as I love creating textures. When I’ve had enough, will go onto another obsession! Perhaps some of you do the same or do you stick to a steady subject I wonder?

I know about the phases, I have a similar experience. Then I delve deeper into a topic and it takes until I understand it. Be it a technique, be it a motif, or both together.

Oooh! There's nothing like rust for telling story! Well done! My husband says, when we're on holiday, that I always make a beeline for "rubbish" but old buildings, rotting things etc all tell us so much!
