Lovely ethereal look to it, which River Colne is this, dear Val-Irene? I made a computer model of the Colne upstream of Slough and designed a small flood scheme to reduce the likelihood of flooding there. xxx

Correction. This is the Colne Valley, North Essex and the Stour Valley is Suffolk. I am on the border line and paint both,
