Beautiful painting, Val-Irene.

Shades of J.M.W. Val-Irene. Nice work...

Wonderful expressive piece Val Irene.

Love it; beautiful colours; so refreshing; cheerfulness especially in January. 😄

Lovely loose feel to this scene Val-Irene, I thought the same as Jim, very reminiscent of Turner's free flowing style. A great compliment, as he is one of my favourites.

They are usually the best paintings Val-Irene, those that inspire us. Like your palette and the way you have painted this.

Such wonderful comments from all of you, I have painted in many different ways and have used every medium I could lay my hands on and experimented with everything from sand and wax in oil paints to glue, salt and cling film in watercolours, printing etc.etc.and I now believe after 40 years or so I have settled into my turnerish paintings as I was so influenced by Turner in my early days . I do take it as a great compliment to be likened to this great artist. My paintings are my own emotional feelings and they are me and no matter what experimentation I do I always come back to wonderful ethereal scenes. Thank you.

Beautiful, Val-Irene. Gorgeous colours.

I would love to be able to let loose like this. It's lovely. Makes you want to look at it and fill in the information yourself.

Gorgeous vibrant colours Val-Irene, a treat for the senses.
