Hope you better soon Val-Irene. This is excellent and the colours are very good, use your time to think about the painting you have done , and plan a shed load of new ones . Time thinking about your work is never a waste of time, as your enforced abstinence from painting will help you to see things a bit different. I had a very long period of not being able to paint, it was hard but positive as well.

Thank you all for your good wishes and positive feed back. Paul I think you you are right to say use my time to think and plan. I have been doing pencil drawings of my hands with my daughter who is an art teacher as well and we are watsaping our images to each other. I watched a program on Rodin last night and the way he looked at hands were slightly exaggerated . It has inspired me to do just a hand painting when I am able.

I’m sorry to hear of your demise Val-Irene, I hope you will be fully recovered very soon. I’ve never seen a mirage but this is how I would imagine it would be like…..a colourful haze of shifting shapes.

After a long break and chipped ribs I cannot paint at the moment but realized I had not put this oil painting on. Hope I can get back to my life of colour soon.
