I am having trouble explaining to myself why I like this painting but I think it is probably the contrast of colour, the treatment of "the sky" and the placement of "the boat", but in the end it just works as an image. Keep playing

Thanks for the comment William. It is not my usual way of painting and I tried oils out on paper, which I have never done before. It gives a very different effect.
