I always think sunset and sunrise are a free show - some beautiful and spectacular sights, and I never tire of them. This is lovely Val-Irene, very Turneresque.

I love the light in the sky which leaks into those beautiful orange and purple hues, which in turn reflects into greens. Really lovely painting. Right up my street!

As I cannot resist the sun setting and it is directly outside my studio window had to do it. This time I wanted to try a very low horizon and used a card with paint and thickener on to put in the horizon.
