Selfie in the shed, oil on 40x30cm board
At the end of the painting day If I’m using oils or acrylics I scrape of my glass palette with a knife and spread it over old unwanted paintings, I find this covers over raised features quite nicely. Then often months later I’ll use it for a picture. I know there will be a rolling of eyes and the accompanying tutting because I will sometimes put acrylics on top of oils, but that’s the way I crumble my media cookies.
