That’s kids, they tell the truth😂 The face is lovely and it’s certainly atmospheric….I’m not sure about the dark surrounding colour….what do you think and what do they think?

I really like how you’ve portrayed this. Very atmospheric. The addition of white charcoal has brought her to the fore. A superb painting!

Thanks Marjorie. I toned down the darks substantially and with the added fine white lines I like because it’s a bit different but I can understand anyone who doesn’t. My daughter in law said she liked it and my son said something about The Exorcist which made me howl again. I’ll know more if it ever appears on a wall in their house.
