Now that’s a bender Martin! I like the link of the bell tower and the “Bells of Hogmanay”…..as they say in Scotland. Wishing you a Happy New Year and a painterly 2023!

Love the wonkiness, happy retirement and Happy New Year

Thanks Fiona and Heather. Happy New Year. There’s nothing like a bit of wonkiness!

Here’s to all wonkiness! Happy New Year to you too Martin.

Glad I looked at this BEFORE I'd had a few. Great pic Martin, Happy New Year.

Yo Marjorie. Wonkies luRe KO!! Cheers Lewis it may look better after a couple. I’ve just looked at the painting with fresh eyes and if there are any Freudian psychoanalytic critics out there I know this may not look good on my manhood but I also know that a spot of viagra in the acrylic medium should fix it!

Love this Martin, the composition and colours. Best wishesto you for 2023

Ha ha, shall I confess that the phallic symbolism was the first thought?

Well done Marjorie. Ha. It’s good to know you are on the ball

A great wonky building very well painted. The addition of the people makes this a great image. Happy New Year to you and yours.

Thanks Spencer. Happy New Year to you and yours too!!!

I love this and all the little people! I think we all have a bit ( or lot) of wonkiness about us. Have you spotted all the wonky veg in Aldi? Very popular! Just saying 🤣. A very Happy and wonky New Year🍷

Thanks Carole. Happy and Wonky New Year to you too. I have seen the wonky veg. Strange but they look normal to me?!

Having smiled at Fiona’s wonky bottle and glass painting I remembered this wonky version I did of Stradun Dubrovnik a while ago. It followed a normal version of the scene but I don’t know why I did it nor what I’d imbibed! Anyway all the best for the new year to all my fellow artists at POL and thanks for looking and commenting on my efforts. I retired in August and the site has helped me immensely to focus on producing and sharing my art and enjoying all yours. Martin x
