What a very unusual find and subject Martin! It’s really well done and very effective in its limited colour which I think emphasises the movement. Good one.

Very well painted Martin.

Thanks Tessa. The colours in reality were much darker but still limited. I lightened it as it would have been very difficult to make out anything much

Thanks Stephen. Good of you to comment

What a great subject and painting Martin

Martin this is brilliant observation and such an unusual subject……love it!

Love it!

Thanks Heather Fiona Spencer and Chris. Your comments are much appreciated. I like the unusual and I like frogs. They have a hard time and deserve a bit of promotion

I actually thought I’d discovered a 5 legged frog until I realised two pairs were mounted! Watercolour on Arches not watercolour paper 12x9
