You capture the movement of the children so well and the water too, this and the sun light, the shade and the reflections make your pictures really captivating. The are wonderful.

Can't really add to that! You catch the fluidity of water - and I know how difficult that is.

I agree with siv and robert, this is another great painting, so well painted

There a real feeling of movement and excitement here, very well done.

Lovely use of colour in the water, and you have captured great energy.

I agree with all of the above another beautiful painting you do such a good job of catching the light in the picture.

Another amazing painting Trevor. I love them all.

Just love it! I love the effect you have created with the waves and I'm going to have a 'go'!

This brings a smile to my face - as do all your other pictures of children in the water, Trevor. Beautiful work!

Another stunning addition to your gallery.

Great image and technique

Your drawings of children are superb. The effect of the spray and waves to give movement and the use of splashes of colour are excellent

Just looked at your portfolio, stunning work. Each one is so full of life and capture the moment brilliantly. And just looked at your website, love the demonstration pages. Hope you sell loads!!

Thank you for your comments. Good to say that one has sold! I am really keen to know how Brenda got on.

Soft Pastel on Sansfix paper. 12"x 12" A sea study of a big wave breaking. The child seems fragile in comparison. The contrast in the warm skin tones and the cooler colours in the wave. It is an opportunity to crumble, dab, and scribble pastel while keeping the overall form of the wave. The application of the pastel is an attempt to carry the energy of the scene.
